When you source coffees it's usually a disappoint to come across a decaf on the cupping table. Not with Atunkaa. It's a good tasting coffee in its own right, that just happens to be decaf. It's also farm level traceable, which is uncommon among coffees in general but practically unheard of with decaf.

When we texted with Pepe to source some of his coffees, he articulated that the Typica Wave is especially dear to him as the fruit of his efforts to make the cleanest natural possible. He's certainly achieved that. His Typica Wave has a bright and pleasantly crisp acidity, fruit flavors such as green grape and apple. Clean throughout, the cup gradually becomes sweeter, fruitier, and lends a subtle floral note, still maintaining an enjoyably vibrant acidity. A great pour over, but also excellent and a bit less subtle as an espresso shot. Note, this is an 8oz bag as our green price was extremely high and our quantity is very limited.

This black honey is very sweet and very acidic, with a mango flavor, sweetness, and even a syrupy sweetness reminiscent of mango.
