Coffee from Africa is by no means a homogenous group of coffees or origins. The coffees from different regions, much less countries, are extremely diverse. This set of coffees from Ethiopia demonstrate just that - two outstanding coffees that are similar in complexity but very different in character. Ethiopia produces exceptional coffee. We're excited for you to try both of these coffees and enjoy the quality and diversity as we have.
- Thomas Warmath, Director of Operations
Experiencing very different coffees next to one another is not only a fun experience but one that offers important insight as well. The more we understand how dynamic an agricultural product coffee is, and the less we see it as a one dimensional commodity (i.e. something with "coffee" flavor), the more we can appreciate the farmers and producers who pour themselves into the land and crops in order to give the world coffee to drink. We hope such appreciation leads coffee drinkers to value the people at the beginning of coffee's journey from farm to cup.
